a thousand dose of euphoria :D

woot woot woot woot~ im feeling jubilant now. infact its one hell of a mix feeling i cant really describe. one part of me is worried about something, another part of me is just...well light. im currently in a huge dilemma, dont know yet if i should choose dentistry over medicine. i just think if i opt for dentistry, one day i'll never forgive myself for going down that route, because my heart is for medicine since long ago. to think that i'll change course only after 10 minutes of pondering is simply negligence of the true picture on my part. i cant put myself in dentistry, for now...or maybe i dont need any self persuasion as i still have some fallback options i can consider. well i'll think through it but for now.....

the usual dedication corner :

i want to thank my parents, my friends, my teachers and all that have supported and guided me, lent me a hand in times of difficulties or when im not in the best of mood, even without intentionally doing it. this year had been pleasant, and im glad i had a pleasant year end gift to seal yet another phase of life. im contented, i thank God who've heard my prayers all these while and i thank myself, for again living up to myself. i shall continue to strive for the better and hopefully, better myself for a better future.

to celebrate, i did nothing but stone at home because i didnt dare plan anything incase...well you know. but i went in the evening with huiling to 1u to do nothing but walk and talk and went 1u again to catch stormwarrior with sis and mommy.

and SINGAPORE here i come! to top that, i now have a new shade of black red hair (me super likey because its near to my natural hair colour now, no more ugly brownish ends!) and my hair is still the same length of which i've kept for shoo freaking long just super layered. u prolly wont see the difference but i see alot of difference! as long as i likey likey :)

those going to singapore, have u guys packed? a long day ahead tmr! shoo many things to do and think. but for now, i'll just bask in this happiness a little longer before reality kicks in again.

i still have alot of happenings yet to be blogged, but guess i'll just have to do it after i come back home!

till then!

Taylor's open day

hoookaaay hookay every second now you hear people talking about results here, there, everywhere, be it in facebook IN PARTICULAR, msn, anywhere's shoutout, face to face conversation and all. i know im not anyhow lesser in bringing anxiety, because it is hard to hide apprehension and all you know i know everyone know, but STOP NOW, stop already.

please! in maybe 6 hours time everyone up down left right will be talking and asking about each other's result, but PLEAAASE do me a favour okay? dont ask me about anything if i dont say, its already hard enough for everyone, it'll be just as hard for me.

let's divert this whole big hoohaa attention to something related to college but a little more....cooling okay?
now now, that cooling topic shall be on taylor's open day i helped out for. this is prolly my first official sorta paid job ever, and im glad it gave me a very pleasant experience. thanks joanne too for always accompanying me, laughing with me (infact laughing like CRAP) and entertaining my jokes plus also pouring jokes like no other.

#1 we got to really conduct experiments to our own desire :D

first day was the most boring of the 3 days, we were assigned to the physic lab to not really conduct experiment, but more towards expounding to people the theory behind energy levels. yeap, the whole set up was to determine the wavelength of a single light source, neon light and hydrogen.

NOBODY'S GOING TO READ THIS NOBODY'S GOING TO READ THIS HAHA I BET THIS IS THE ONLY LINE YOU'RE GONNA READ HAHA. okaay be more serious -__- its nice to capture ppl's attention amidst the whole chunck of paragraph

the explanation was easy actually, because most of the parents and students that came in have either zero knowledge on the subject, or only knew certain scientific words like ''wavelength'' or ''diffraction'', so it was easy for me and joanne. and the first day was also the least crowded day of the 3, as it was on a friday and parents might have to go to work.

chromatography on the 2nd day was interesting. i think by now me and joanne are like super pro in this experiment adi. instead of just mundanely following what's in the syllabus, we decided to be alittle bit more creative.

to kill the in between time when parents are not in the lab listening to our explanation, we 'll be having art class :) to be able to combine arts and science to produce such fine art, i say we're pretty much talented!

NOT.

me and joanne's masterpiece :P

my favourite two made my me :)

all these prolly killed alot of time, i didnt know i still have such flair for arts? ew.

normal chromatography

me explaining to someone :P

joanne nerding :P

me nerding :P

3rd day was bio day- not my forte of course. actually we didnt do much on it, because everything was well prepared we just had to turn on the microscope, adjust the lenses and put specimens on the stage. there were like scorpian, cat's skeletion, preserved turtles, spiders...stuff we've never seen before in taylor's lab (wonder where they get that suddenly). and we didnt do much explanation either, because....well you'll know later :P

#2 we got to have free milo + nescafe + lunch + tupperware+ two taylors t shirt everyday

okay maybe free milo + nescafe shouldnt be included, for the coffee making machine in the student central was only allowed for guest, but as joanne said, ''we dont know how to read words'' or ''the words are too ugly'' HAHA. the tupperware they used to store lunch was shoo useable for my mom!

#3 we got to go lakeside campus.

i know i know we were on duty but there werent much crowd on a sunday morning! (which explains why we didnt explain much on bio, thanks sam!) so out of the blue, we were in the free shuttle bus on the way to the other much-more-happening campus.

in the bus

there were way more people there registering for courses or degrees. there were dances and food and everything the main campus didnt have :) lakeside campus's actually pretty nice, quite impressive and very BIG.

in the MPH equivalent hall. look at the crowd!

the lake

done by culinary art students i think, so geng!

#4 we got free food in lakeside campus.

actually not, staff werent allowed to touch the food, so we depended on connections :) joanne asked her friend who wasnt wearing taylors t shirt to get the food for us, so all 4 of us (including another 2 boys) got free food which wasnt exactly scrumptious.

we managed to procure ice-creams on our own too, though we had to wear our labcoats to cover the logo omg man no face adi -_- that's the only other shirt we had. can u imagine seeing 4 ppl, outta no where taking out their labcoats and wearing them infront of a desert booth? HAHA.

yeah like this, just that there were 4 of us :) even the selling ice cream one laughed at us.

#5 we got to kayak for free in lakeside campus.

HAHA i know damn random but everything was free for the day! so we took opportunity to learn and kayak to make full use of the lake (to think that we get paid to learn how to kayak)

im smiling as im typing this now because it was a very funny activity, for me and joanne that is x) our coordination and cooperation and communication were terribly horrible to the core because you know why? i thought we wanted to turn but joanne thought we wanted to go straight so we were like shouting because we couldnt hear each other (i bet people across the lake aso can hear please -_-) and directing each other to do each other's respective correct way.

joanne kept making me laugh i couldnt kayak and all, at a point of time i even stop kayaking to hold my stomach and finish my laughter.

the 2 guys in the other boat started later than us, but overtook us so easily HAHA and in the middle of the lake, they were teaching us how to kayak properly HAHA

and our boat crashed onto land and we were still attempting to use what we've been taught (reverse technique) which only apply on water, nowonder the boat was still stuck there after our vain attempt.

HAHA and i stood up half way to adjust my lifejacket only to be shouted at by people near the lake asking me ''what are you doing?'' HAHA x10000!

damn syok sendiri

#6 we made a bunch of friends.

we were in the same lab as a bunch of malay guys and they were shoo funny! check out http://peteranswers.com. Peter can answer just about anything you ask, if of course, you know the correct technique of asking *inside joke* they wanted to trick us but of course we knew something was tricky :) and of course a bunch of nice friendly friends, including two who went with us to lakeside campus + played cards together.

#7 we got disturbed by a very disgusting black bird, which is dead already :(

there was this black bird which kept flying into the chem lab because it was attracted to the biodiesel, apparently that was appealing to it. for the first few times it flew in, i literally shouted and we ran out thru the emergency exit (that's kinda like an emergency right?) to ask the other students from the other labs to shoo the black birdie out. but after a few trials, i managed to pull off being bold, use a stool and pretended to throw the stool to it. it flew off eveeerytimeeee HAHA.

the sad thing was, its no longer with us as the cleaner dumped it into hot water, tied its neck and pulled it. omggg that was shoo cruel.

#8 we earned money $$$$$$$$$

rm120 for 3 days for fun and experience, me likey!

#9 we managed to break all rules in merely 3 days.

we tried everything we could, from pulling the shower outside the lab to playing with the hand washer in the lab to opening every cupboard to see what's in it to burning a glass rod to sleeping on the floor in the lab to eating free smarties and M&M meant for experiment... u name it, we did it HAHA. im so sorry, but the lab is still in good condition no worries :)

other funny stuff:

#10 we played chase chase in the garden with our labcoats on.

hahah actually no, we were running away from the bird so it appeared to look like we're playing ''aeroplane flying''

#11 we chatted with a teacher for more than an hour.

and alot of other stuff that probably happened but i couldnt remember already. if working can be as fun as this, i wanna work everyday already!

not alot of pictures cuz i forgotten to bring my camera on the first day =/

a gastronomic adventure, quote jiu jiu

Thursday

thursday was one of the most absurd, tiring and fun-filled day ever! i still cant believed we walked that much that day. the plan was rather a last minute one, as we (tsewei, siewming and I) only decided to do THAT (do that? wait larh!) the night before when we were chatting in msn.

so outta no where, we were in Petaling Street. okay, maybe not out of no where haha, but it feels like that. we took rapikKl from 1u all the way to KL central. it was actually kinda ludicrous, seeing that we were still in taman tun half and hour after the departure. it seemed the bus went one big round to every station to pick up more people -_-''

after 18 years on earth and 13 years of living in BU4, i came to know about the bus and sat in it about roughly...that day? hehe. we were being quite loud in the bus, as usual chatting just about everything we could think of.

after i think 40/50 mins or so, we reached Kl central and took the LRT to Pasar Seni. this was our very first adventure of the day- transport adventure! (wait till you see more, i bet you'll go haywire)

petaling street was...woow, scorching hot. we were silly enough to walk there when it was 11 plus? and the shade they constructed wasnt of much help either, it was semi-transparent.

thanks to siewming for always reminding us to take pictures, we took ALOT :)

i dont think i've ever been to petaling street before because that place sure didnt look familiar to me. and that was when our next adventure began- food adventure. seriously, we ate to the brim that day, i still cant believe we ate that much! x) even tse wei said so, so it must had been alot!

self shot barely made it

lets see, first we ate ''bang zang gui'', then drank air mata kucing, moving on to sweet potato ball, and finally had actual lunch in a hawker stall, where me and siewming just couldnt finish our food. so tse wei had to be the am mum mum friend to finish it all for us x)

oh, before lunch tse wei attempted to bring us to a place to eat beef noodles, it never came across my mind that i cant eat beef, only later in the day. but anyway that didnt matter, because after going one whole big round and finally ending at where we were (under the hooooot sun!) tse wei gave up finding. and he said ''nvm, this place got nice wantan mee'' but guess what?

there wasnt any wantan mee to be found -___-'' what la tse wei.... so i had char kuey teow and siewming had her beef noodle still :) and i drank sarsi, which was kinda catastrophic, i think.

we also passed by the so called ''barber'' shop, only it wasnt a shop, but more of an open-air road side chair used for haircut. okay, now i know such things still exist in malaysia.

there the ''barber'' shop

this picture caused us a great price. we got whistled at for no reasons, and if i wasnt mistaken, there was an annoucement, maybe warning being made VERY loudly. okay chill man, we were just taking pictures, not robbing a bank!okayla actually not :P the whistle plus annoucement werent directing to us, please la of course -_-''

and we entered a pet shop too. spend a great deal of time laughing at a particular lazy dog HAHHA. i want a husky when im richer! shoo cute :)

and so our walking adventure began- seriously walked till die. we walked to the nearest LRT station and went back to KL central to transit to monorel. at that point of time, i felt really sick- like a wave of nausea had just hit me. the last time i had this feeling was when i had dengue, it was the same feeling. sorry siewming and tse wei for having to wait for awhile till i recovered, sorry.

next destination- timesquare! haha yes i finally brought them to devour on the SOUP (EATING AGAIN). yes espresSOUP jillian!

self timer rocks!

we went to the cinema in hope of movie of suitable timing to watch, but too bad the queue was crazy and there werent much timeslot. then tse wei met his GF -krispy kreme, he had been talking about her for months :P (im sure doughnuts are hers). there was this guy doing some really cool stunts using a krispy kreme cardboard so we toughened our desire, approached the guy and SNAP infront of everyone!

tse wei, its not clear! pif  (see the bunch of students behind looking at us)

back to 3 years old :D

after walking aimlessly in timesquare without buying anything, we walked across the bridge to sg wang. sg wang was unusually empty. before that, i brought them to feast on curry fishballs! that's one place family and I always frequent when we go down KL together :D (EATING AGAIN)

yum yum!

we took opportunity to capture all the christmas deco in all malls.

christmas deco in TS

i dont normally put up blur pictures if i have a choice, but this is one picture i have to post up.

siewming asked ''is the picture blur?'' and tse wei softly said ''no''. when we looked at the picture, WOAAAAAH......how can this not be blur? its the blurrest picture taken ever!

a nicer one at least. it looked thinner because i cropped a person out LOL (deco in SW)

anyway after walking aimlessly again, we walked across to lowyat :D
a picture to prove that we were there. ohya i met chinfei and his friends too

it doesnt prove anything does it, it can be taken anywhere :P

some picture we tried taking on an escalator. we took 3 times :P and tse wei tse wei...

afterthat, we walked back to timesquare and ate at the place me and jillian always frequent (EATING AGAIN).

tse wei thinks its cool to capture the effect of the sugar dropping from the spoon. i think not.

on the way to somewhere

finally we, very lethargically sat monorel back to kl central, and lrt back to kelana jaya, and bus back to ikano, eating the kripsy kreme on the way (EATING AGAIN). the journey was....very, very bumpy.

to my utter horror -___________-, that wasnt all. finally deciding to walk over taking cab, we walked all the way back to 1u to meet up with qingxian while tse wei headed home.

1u's christmas deco

qingxian was already shopping when we were there :D after eating, we watched Mulan. this show's kinda good, i cried quite alot and i heard lotsa *sniff sniff* from erheem hahah.

after the show, we teman-ed qingxian shopping, only to buy something for myself, so zha dou -_-'' then we head home.

that day was definitely something different, we talked + ate + laughed + walked + fainted + weird weird alooot. thank you guys for this day :)

till then!

deedumdum~*

just another regular update :D
one fine evening (okay fine i forgotten which evening so i put that), family and i had dinner with my dad's boss/colleague at a seafood restaurant as a farewell dinner as they're going back to japan. the main focus was that they were japanese. it was rather something to see how polite they can be, which for malaysian would come across as being utterly obsequious. its their culture, all japanese i encountered by far are like that. and the baby was shoo adorable! not the annoying run around kind, but the shy shy hide face kind. aw kawaii desu!

wait, i think that was last last week's tuesday night. if not mistaken.

around last last week too, i was finally able to watch

Harry Potter

and

Monster Vs Alien

harry potter was such a let down as usual, somehow i feel like its kind of like a repetition of the previous ones, but monster vs alien was surprisingly nice, though the plot was simple i thought it was somehow different. in short, HP thumbs down, MA thumbs up.

about last last week too i started watching

this HK series is quite entertaining, kinda like a comedy really, definitely worth the watch. am still watching it now since i havent touched it for the past 7/8/9 days?

im currently reading

eclipse now. BORING. really struggling to finish the whole damn book, sry to those twilight fans out there x)

on last thursday, jillian and I went timesquare for shopping! my target of clothes this time is [blank]. bought quite a few and jillian bought more stuff than me! finally!

she brought me to her favourite espresSOUP, which was daaaaamn awesome damn scrumptious damn delicious! the best soup i ever had :D after shopping for awhile, we went to feast in the same place where the mushroom soup in bread was served.

yum yum

her husband tagged along as well. this time im much more compose okay, i didnt buy anything on a whim. i chose properly, checked the price and everything HAH!

we wore the same shirt again! speaking of delusion, that's probably gonna be the last few times we'll able to do that already D:

i remembered talking ALOT of crap, like seriously alot HAH i remember one now. there was this waitress walking around like some beauty pageant and i dunno why we were laughing about that again haha. jillian, remind me what was that again? i remembered we walked till we had to sit on a very strategic bench to rest.

last monday, i cant remembered what i did in the morning but i went badminton with munwai, choonghern, huiling, rachelmak and her brother at qx' place. choong quite the sien of us x). didnt really play, talk more than play. then i went pasar malam with huiling though it was drizzling. hahah the obvious difference bet. going to pasar malam with family and with friends is that, with family, it'll be

me : i feel like buying this la, should i buy?
any family member : buy for what? wasting money only.

with friends *cough cough huiling*, it'll be

me : i feel like buying this la, should i buy?
huiling : BUY LA!

huiling, u made me spend shoo much that day, especially on food! i lovee pasar malam because i get to eat and try everything bit by bit until i get really full =)

on last tuesday, i went curve with G3 people, you know who you are :D watched

ninja assassin

i thought the show was good, but the blood scene was a little bit overused. and some stuff were abit funny, like how the sifu suddenly became so weak when the director wanted him to die, or how rain has soo much blood to spare. but rain's kinda hot :D. afterthat, we walked aimlessly and seeing that it was about to rain, i quickly walked back, only to go to 1u to catch another movie

newmoon

with alina and siewming. alina had abit of transport problem but it was solved soon enough. finally sawwwww siewming!! newmoon, in my opinion, was too boring for me, because i know what would happened and there were too little action. but siewming and alina thought it was okay =)

alina made me and siewming jump when she tried scaring us from behind, which was successful. i squeaked a little, siewming's squeaks were louder, damn not again!

on last wednesday, i dedicated my whole day to [blank] that day was prolly one of my worst-mood day in the holidays.will reveal when appropriate.

on thursday...... nvm skip that day, i cant remember what i did

on last friday, G3 friends and I went to visit brian in his hospital-Gleneagels Intan Medical Centre in ampang. i thought i was entering a HOTEL. apparently brian's surgeries (yes, with S) were nothing serious, he had undergone 5 surgeries btw.

ended up chatting for quite a long time in his ward, he looked quite pale actually to me. we wanted to surprise him but his mom had to spoil it for us -_-.

we came a long way from our respective places, some gathered at kelanajaya LRT station where we continued to jelatak and sat a cab to his hotel, oops, i mean hospital. we bought him patrick balloon and fruits, even took picture with him. overall, it was quite an experience visiting a friend in a hotel, oops, i mean hospital :) be touched brian, we came all the way for you!

afterthat, it was planned that we would hang out in KLCC, but due to parking problems, only some managed to reach KLCC, while the rest in navin's car took a long while to find parking spaces. so we (toh, steph, waisan and me precisely) hadda wait in madam kwan for DAMN long haha, even occupied such a BIG table for no reasons until the manager/waitress + waitresses were discussing among themselves whether ornot to shoo us. of course we immediately ordered something, ate as slow as we could and left still only the 4 of us. the rest (some) decided to hit midv instead, while i head back home.

that night, alina, siewming, tse wei and i headed to 1u to catch a movie, it was tse wei's last college day of the year. we watched Jump. okay i dont know why i couldnt google any picture on it so no picture.

it was okay for me, i reckon not that worth watching in cinema though we could definitely use the big screen to observe things like ''the girl got moustache'' and ''yer, the girl's not pretty after makeup'' HAHA. and never ever sit next to sit tse wei in romance movie, you dont wanna know why.

saturday, sunday and monday family and i were in singapore, which will be elaborated in the next post.

i think i'll just stick to writing interesting happenings rather than day-to-day encounters. i get bored of writing, and im almost sure you get bored of reading. my tone's so flat in this post -__-''

till then!

fill in the _____.

Dear Shu Ying, you were my first friend on the first day of college, that I'll always remember. up till now, i still remembered the very first few words you told me ''i feel like shitting larh'', frankly, I was quite taken aback and I thought you were a tweeny bit eccentric. but as i got to know you better as time passed, i actually realized you have a very unique personality. very frank, very open-minded, very smart, and of course....very vain! :P i wouldnt say i was the closest to you in college but we talked enough through chemistry experiment, lunch break, outings and all, so i wouldnt say im not close to you also, if you get what i mean. chemistry was probably the keyfactor in our friendship, you were a very nice lab partner, always so efficient and meticulous. nowonder we were always the fastest! always have faith in yourself in your future undertaking because trust me, people like you cant bear to see yourself fail and you'll do whatever it takes to soar. you're definitely not even near to the word 'stupid' or 'bimbo' (though you like acting like one on purpose i know haha) try to manage the stress level well okay? have some fun in the midst of hardcoring. i'll try not to forget about the 10 years promise (i cant guarantee :P) and i'll try to still look young and pretty then *inside joke*

thanks for the little column you dedicated to me, you know i cant stand touchy stuff x)

~ ~ ~ ~ ~

thought i would share how monkeys swim :D

aw too bad the legs cant be seen. and look at how the monkey grabs the food, like so scared other monkeys will snatch like that.

till then!

LANGKAWII bloom

heyhey! im back with another very looong langkawi post, so bear with me :) miss me ornot?! bet not -_-' anyway just so you know, family and i went for an excursion to langkawi to berbonding-bonding. was very tiring due to the scorching hot sun but nicee :D so!

DAY 1

left home at 6+ am and reached kedah at approximately 9am. after settling everything (including renting an iswara and paying for a half a day mangrove trip in langkawi) we reached langkawi at dunno what time via ferry. sleeping in the ferry was probably one of the worst experience ever! my neck was shooo pain afterwards.

at the jetty

anyway, we proceeded to eat lunch at a chinese restaurant. first stop in our itinerary (actually we didnt have one) was the Underwaterworld.

it bears a resemblance to KL's one, just that this one is nicer. it has penguins and seal! so happened we were there during the seals' feeding time, we got to watch some tweeny performance, was pretty impressive! there were alot of exotic marine animals too. pictures time :)

i kinda pity these penguins, have to be there forever.

looks like some penguin seen in the show, happy feet if not mistaken.

penguin scratching its back.

jelly fish

why so many pictures of the same damn thing? cuz the stoopid fish kept swimming around and to capture its magnitude of its size, i had to run around standing next to it with my sister taking the photo -___-'' seee the stoopid fish behind.

finally, a non moving wan

my dad found his species :D

im looking at nothing, mr fish.

very, veery cold.

afterthat, we headed back to our resort to check in. btw, our resort is called Frangipani, its a beautiful resort it really is with the beaches and the nice ambience and the nice set up and all. we even got upgraded to an even nicer room because we wanted two double beds, so very comfy :D

what is my sister doing at the left?

one thing uber cool about this sorta room is, the bathroom's actually outdoor. with no ceiling like the picture on the right. it was kinda scary at first, scared got ppl curi tengok from the trees outside. the syok part is when it rains when you're bathing, whoaa, i was that close to the rain.

we decided to use the resort's facilities so mommy and sister sunbathed at the beach *under the shade that is LOL* .i joined them for awhile then decided that i couldnt resist the urge to swim, so i joined daddy for swimming and jacuzzi. omg the jacuzzi was AWESOME! like a massage chair :)

it was pretty late then so we took things slow. headed to kuah town to have our dinner at some seafood restaurant though the food was just mediocre. wait, before that, we took quite awhile buying liquor! that's ALOT of liquor for a pretty small island like this i would say, so many choices and soooooo cheap relatively!

at night, we did nothing but chilled and drank by the beach. i drink with my parents cuz i feel safe with them :D haha at least i know nothing wrong will happen even if im drunk or what. it was veeery nice :D

nice family potrait

DAY 2

VERY hard to wake up in the morning. after cleaning up in a uber slow mode, me and sister went to the resort's dining area to have buffet breakfast. YUMMY and lotsa variety :) and i observed something- Caucasians like sitting near beaches where there's sun (almost all sat as near as possible to the beach, phototrophic?) while Asians like us like to sit as near as possible to the food and away from sunlight. so typical.

anyway after breakfast, we went for the mangrove trip. honestly, it was okay only, firstly because of the sun, 2ndly because we've seen nicer sceneries in taman negara, and 3rdly, it wasnt much of a woow thing.

me and baba before the the trip

our first activity was to see swimming monkeys, speaking of which,
HAVE YOU SEEN MONKEYS SWIMMING BEFORE?
i havent before this, and i never knew monkeys can freaking swim! i suppose due to natural selection and geographical isolation HAH! quite an eye opener here.

o.O i think i see some thing there

o.O im drowning?!

i die die also must get to my food

o.O i got the food!

haha the faces of the monkeys are quite hilarious.. all the o.O look.

along the way there were alot of mangrove trees quite near to us, and we saw a jelly fish so near our boat. we passed by a mountain that had a shaped of KINGKONG. at first i didnt get it, but soon i was like OH I CAN SEE THAT ALREADY.

does it look like kingkong to you?

mangroves

mommy and papa

jelly fish!

there used to be a charcoal factory, it has been demolished because it was disrupting the natural ecosystem.

hence, explains the black soil

further down the river we saw eagles flying around in air trying to catch the food thrown to them. tourist normally feed them CHICKEN SKIN, which is shoo unhealthy, nowonder the eagles there were all quite small. and according to the our tourguide, the chicken skin would make the eagles' egg shell brittle, im smelling extinction in langkawi!

had a hard time trying to get the eagle's picture

next, we headed to the crocodile's cave. LOL, there werent any crocodiles there of course, siao meh. but long time ago, crocodile hid there to escape from predators. (crocodiles got predators wan meh?)

in

out

then, we were brought to the fish farm. IT WAS SO GLARINGLY HOT then, midafternoon you know. but we still lingered around under the sun, listening to what the locals were explaining to us. there was this really cool species of fish which can aim and spit water out of the water to dislodge the bread from the wood barricade to procure the food. we were all so amazed by that ability! like O.O literally! i managed to touch stingrays too! feels like my dad's leg, just that it felt much rubber-ier.

this is called horse-shoe crab. you know why its called that.

me and papa searching for stingrays

afterthis, we had lunch at a floating restaurant and PLEASE, never ever look down on restaurants like this okay! nice food they served.

after lunch, we went to bat's cave. this wasnt even near to nice compared to taman negara's one. we just walked on the pathway with monkeys surrounding us and there were not as many bats as i expected it to have. but for the other tourists i suppose it was something outstanding for them.

upon entering

miserable number of bats

on the way (so many on the way haha)to our next destination- the beach, we passed by the Geoforest park. you know the Geoforest park? its been declared world heritage by UNESCO in year 2007, we saw it!

after reaching the beach, all the caucasians in the same boat as us plunged into the sea straightaway. what's with them and the sun huh? even some arabian guy or something went down the sea with only his panties on -____-'' too bad i didnt bring my swimsuit so i just dipped my legs into the water, while my dad swam around and my sister and mommy sat on a rock chatting away. took opportunity to take lotsa beautiful pictures! infact i have shoo many pictures now i dunno which one to choose!

LOL papa's shoo funny.

me posing for pictures.

after one whole morning and afternoon, we finally headed back to our resort again. went swimming afterwards and dipped dipped in the jacuzzi again. AH SYOK BETUL!

at dunno what time, we went down to kuah town again to buy more liquor to bring back home and have dinner. paksa ourself to fulfill the much deceived quota of being able to bring back 1 litre, 6 cans and 3 small bottles of liquor. kena kon big time by the shop man, turned out we were only allowed to bring back each person 1 litre regardless of what kind of bottle it was stored in.

so we bought a total of 5 big bottles of liquor (sneak 1 in the bag), 13 small bottles (sneak 1 in the bag too) and dunno how many cans of liquor. now i wonder how imma gonna finish all the vodka and whisky and wine (cham flavours of course) i was forced to buy hahah. it tastes like soft drink, yummy :D

this time, the seafood restaurant we chose was awesome. all the foods were pure genius. yumyum and the thaisik fish was shooo spicy i felt like i was in a boat. walaao, even i can feel its spiciness, means it was damn spicy okay!

nighttime, we chilled in our room this time. slept pretty late and drank more than the night before, but not alot aso.  had a really goooood sleep.

DAY 3

forced myself to wake up and had buffet breakfast again. this time, my daddy went because it was more worth it for him to eat, my sister became a very light eater this year. he ate till he can skipp breakfast and dinner, imagine that!

before leaving the resort, we went around taking pictures of the nice view. the guailows were like looking at us with this very weird culture, but i suppose all Asians do that dont we! nice view must always take, kiasu-ism comes to play.

more beach view

on the way down to our next destination we saw aircraft practising for the upcoming LIMAH. whoa we actually saw it turning upside down 3 times in a row. manage to take the most beautiful picture ever

omgoodness, the beauty is beyond words can describe! i cant believe we managed to take such an excellent photo! can so totally suit 2012's movie shoutout!

stopped by a petrol station to pump petrol, only to see a really picturesque view of the yacht parking site. beautiful beautiful! like some postcard picture, so we continue snapping away :D my family's really a bunch of camwhorers man.

i feel like im in australia already

more family photo

hehe, use B&W to make it look more emo :D

our next destination was the cable car, but we only managed to shop around the shoplots down there before heading back to our resort to check out as we were running short of time.

im shoo happy i bought a new swimsuit! ngiahha now i can bid goodbye to my older one which was actually very comfortable :( after checking out, we headed back to the cable car again LOL. (you know our resort and the cable car was approx 20 mins away from each other, imagine the time wasted to and fro). in the midst of walking, we bought another 2 dresses.

thank god we decided to sit the cable car because if not we would have missed this :

you know how sometimes we received emails stating ''the top most impressive things in the world'' or something? i certainly didnt know this was in MALAYSIA, like wth right. we were so near to missing this because it was quite late already. but we went up still, and daddy has height phobia, he had jelly legs! xD

the view was scenic.snap snap snap again~

the plastic bag spoilt a somewhat decent picture!

after coming down, we saw this rabbit and deer farm so we went to have a look. the deers were so tame! but i still takut.

had kenny rogers before heading back via ferry, that's all on my langkawi trip PHEW finally i finished. i like family outings! more family outings!

if you have read every sentence up till now, you're crazy but i love you loads! most of you wont i know, i probably wont too.

till then!

SAM prom 09

prom post now! now now how often do i post twice a day! niceeeee :D

prom was okay larh, not exceptionally fun or what. i still remembered being quite sick in the morning, had abit of fever and i was praying hard to recover, not like i would compromise prom for my health, but going to prom in a-not-so-well-state wasnt exactly going to be fun. but lucky for me i recovered in the afternoon, must be genting's fault.

at about 3+, my sister came back and did my hairdo. took ages to get it done because firstly, it was her first time doing this style and so there were much trial and errors (including taking out the clips and putting them in again).that headgear was actually made of my hair, looked weird w/o the feather butterfly and all so my sister had to improvise by adding those sorts. turned out quite nice, but i expected it to be less dramatic because i told her i wanted simplicity. THANKS SIS! btw, that hairdo was inspired by cheat oneTM
from cheesie.
makeup also done by my sis. again, i wanted it SIMPLE. she told me simple simple but when i looked into the mirror, i was shocked haha. it was nice but toooo much, but it was still nice. THANKS SIS! everything was DIY- do it yourself and totally FOC :D

my saviour

by the time the makeover was done, it was near to 6 and i HAD to camwhore, hence the lateness. i was told by keith to reach at 5.45 but it was already 6 when i saw the msg. sry for being late.

if you notice, its the same picture i used for my sidebar :)

continue camwhoring in the car. it was damn jam

i missed the camwhore session in the lobby, but man were everyone stunning. honestly, some looked damn different and gorgeous, like elsie and betty. honestly, girls can look so pretty when they actually dress up! guys looked smart also.

stunning girls at table 57

i quickly rushed into the ballroom, got my picture taken and sat down. actually the whole prom was littlebit of a bore, but i enjoyed the company :D everything was awesome, the food, the atmosphere, the emcees, the performance, and the PA system was shoo much better than my previous school's one, although some said it was terrible. overall, the prom committee did a splendid job, i like the grandeur. the VIPS who were actually all the lecturers came in like some superstar, they played most of the classes' videos, speeches and all...it was so well planned.

lecturers on stage

so impressive

being a prom queen nominee was rather something, it was nice walking on stage and stoning to say the least. but i had to miss some food and i was really starving, had a really interrupted dinner because me and jay had to go up stage every once in a while. and honestly, i was seriously shaking 30 secs before my turn to walk out, damn kaku, but it was definitely a nice experience. congrats to whom that won the title (i dont know his/her name) but why didnt this girl win?

shoo shoo hawt can?

the nominees

half way through prom, everyone started going around to take pictures, hence the funny + candid + nice pictures in FB. the lightings were nicer outside the ballroom, so most of us were outside and we never saw the last few dishes again. i wanted to eat the mango pudding shoo shooo much because i was still starving then. the boys took ALOT of posing pictures, guess the girls were a tweeny bit shy :) saw alot of friends i seldom see, like choong jess yenwei michelle (cousin) but i didnt see yeeejune! where were you!

with mr munin! my only picture with him

yen wei :D she was suppose to be the emcee for the night

jessica and the genius. sec friends

class photo #2

supposedly acting sluttish

prom was somehow short, we left at 11.30 when it supposedly end at midnight. some of us managed to enter MOS while some spent quality time in Starbucks. clubbing, is something i would like doing again some other times :D it was too dark, the music were too loud, and honestly i prefer R&B over trance. i probably will not pay to go in though, its not worth it. nvm shall wait for ladies night someday when i turned 21 to masuk Zouk!

we danced for like 1 hour plus only cuz my heels were killing me. cute betty was very innocent in there :)

jillian

there was this young girl staring at us while we took this photo, she must be confused as to why we're taking photo with the screen facing her.

after that, my dad came and fetched me and jillian back to my house, she stayed over and we had quality time together! well sorta, we talked till 5am and i didnt wanna let her sleep because hey, how often do you come to my house jillian! :D i went on9 first to play country story so we didnt exactly talk that much :P

we planned to wake up at 10 the next day but failed, woke up at 11+ instead. she wanted to eat Paddington House of Pancake, so off we headed to ou and ngiap ngiap. awesome food but jelak abit :P then we walked aimlessly in ou and i brought her to eat seafood tempura at shih lin. she took a cab back to taylors at approx 1+ and i went home :D

later that evening, i went jogging with boyuan and alina. tse wei wanted to go but half way through running to kiara park, he ran back hahaha what on earth? we didnt exercise AT ALL. ended up walking and talking throughout, then head home again -___-''

phew not that long a post isnt it? till then!
